Air Tech, LLC (“Manufacturer”) warrants to the first end user that the turbocharger sold in this box: (a) conforms to the dimensions and specifications set forth in the Manufacturer’s website and in this box and (b) is free from defects in materials and workmanship. This limited warranty applies only to the Manufacturer’s turbocharger if it is properly installed, operated, and maintained in accordance with Manufacturer’s instructions (including startup procedures and air filter replacement), requirements, and notices and otherwise under industry standard conditions. This warranty also shall not apply to any unit that has been used in a manner contrary to Manufacturer’s warnings, improperly stored, subjected to misapplication, improper operating conditions, accidents, or general neglect, or which has been disassembled, improperly repaired or altered or otherwise mistreated in the field.

Manufacturer’s obligation under this warranty is limited, however, at Manufacturer’s option, to (a) fund of the original purchase price of the turbocharger or (b) the repair or replacement (at Manufacturer’s option) of a turbocharger that is returned, shipping prepaid with a complete service history, to Manufacturer–if Manufacturer finds that the turbocharger does not conform to this limited warranty. Prior to making a warranty claim, the user should examine the air intake system (including disassembling all intake pipes and rubber boots)to confirm no foreign objects are in the system. If the manufacturer replaces the turbocharger, then Manufacturer may replace the turbocharger with a remanufactured or rebuilt unit.

Upon completion of the warranty determination, whether accepted or denied, returned units become the sole property of Manufacturer. If a returned unit is not eligible for warranty treatment, Manufacturer may offer a limited credit toward the purchase of a new turbocharger.
This limited warranty shall terminate twelve (12) months from the date of shipment to the original end user.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF AL OTHER REPRESENTATIONS, OBLIGATIONS OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. EXCEPT AS SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY, MANUFACTURER DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IS EXTENDED TO ANY PERSON OTHER THAN THE FIRST END USER. NEITHER MANUFACTURER NOR ANY RESELLER ASSUMES OR AUTHORIZES ANY PERSON TO ASSUME ON MANUFACTURER’S BEHALF ANY OTHER WARRANTY OR OBLIGATION.

Any description of the turbocharger, whether in writing or made orally by Manufacturer or its agents, including samples, drawings, or similar materials used with an order are for the sole purpose of identifying the turbocharger and shall not be construed as an express warranty. Any suggestions regarding a specific use, application, or suitability of the turbocharger for a particular application shall not be construed as an express warranty unless so confirmed by an instrument That’s signed by Manufacturer.

Manufacturer’s liability with respect to the performance of the turbocharger shall be limited to the warranty above, and in all other respects Manufacturer’s liability shall be limited to the invoice price of the turbocharger. MANUFACTURER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONTINGENT DAMAGES WHATSOEVER. WHETHER ARISING OUT OF BREACH OF CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE AND STRICT LIABILITY) OR THEORIES OF LAW, WITH RESPECT TO TURBOCHARGERS SOLD BY MANUFACTURER, OR ANY UNDERTAKINGS, ACTS OR OMISSIONS RELATING THERETO. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Manufacturer shall have no liability for property or personal injury damages, penalties, special or punitive damages, damage for lost profits or revenues, loss of use of the engine or related freight capacity due to engine failure or otherwise, or for any other types of economic loss, or for claims of the buyer, buyer’s customers or any third party for any such damages.

Notice:
Warning
• To protect the bearings in the turbocharger add clean oil to the oil inlet prior to
connecting the oil inlet line.
• Allow engine to idle for one minute after initial startup.
• Torque specs are 9 1b/ft. for the T-bolt nuts  on the V-band clamps that hold the housings to the center cartridge of the turbo.
